Located in Southeastern Michigan, the Grosse Pointe area is bordered by Detroit, Harper Woods and St. Clair Shores and is picturesquely nestled along the shores of Lake St. Clair. Encompassing approximately 12 square miles, the “Grosse Pointes” are actually made up of five distinct cities:

• City of Grosse Pointe
• Grosse Pointe Park

Each community has its own, residents-only, waterfront park with marina, and other amenities such as swimming pools, tennis courts and picnic areas. There are several retail districts offering goods and services from both nationally recognized retailers and unique independent offerings. Grosse Pointe is home to three top-rated hospitals, an exceptional library system with three branches, two golf courses, and three yacht clubs.

While being only minutes from the downtown Detroit or major suburban shopping areas, Grosse Pointe differentiates itself from the other Detroit suburbs by retaining a small-town feel.
